The Rawstornes at 268 is set in the tranquil garden “INDAWO YOXOLO/PLACE OF PEACE” high up in Greytown in the Umvoti County – 1103m above sea level.

Situated in the KwaZulu Natal Midlands, Greytown is one of KwaZulu Natal’s most beautiful towns, nestling in a snug valley surrounded by forested hills, colourful gardens and beautiful trees. Birds and butterflies abound in this indigenous garden.

THE SAHARA

THE KINGFISHER

Executive suite fitted with a king size bed and two single beds, full bathroom – bath and shower, separate exclusive lounge area situated beside a beautiful pool setting. Fully fitted with television, DVD player, fridge and microwave oven. This unit is fitted with airconditioning as well as ceiling fans. Tea and coffee facilities.

THE SERENGETI

This spacious unit is filled with a kettle, microwave and fridge, TV/DVD. It boasts a beautifully decorated full bathroom and shower. Fully air-conditioned.

THE MTUNZINI

This spacious, tastefully decorated, luxury unit boasts two single beds and a laptop table for the business-minded person. It also offers a beautiful en-suite bathroom with old fashioned ball & claw bath and gold tap fittings. Fully air-conditioned.

THE AMAJUBA

Also known as the “Green Room” this cosy cottage is set around the pool area. It offers spacious accommodation with a full bathroom, a double and single bed, television, home theatre system, microwave oven and fridge. Fully air-conditioned. Tea and coffee facilities.

THE WILSON ROOM

This bed-sitter is fitted with a double and single bed, and full bathroom, also television, DVD player and fridge. Tea and coffee facilities. Fully air-conditioned.

THE GUINEA-FOWL HOUSE

THE LEOPARDS LAIR

Tastefully decorated ethnic self-catering one bedroom apartment with lounge / kitchenette, shower and toilet. Bedroom fitted with two single beds, fully fitted kitchen with microwave oven and fridge. THE KALAHARI ROOM

THE GARDEN SUITE

This is a modern 2 bedroom unit near the pool which opens up onto a beautiful lush garden. There are 2 x ¾ beds in the front room and 2 singles in the other. Fully fitted with kettle. fridge, microwave, aircon and DSTV. Free wifi availible.

The Rawstornes @ 268 boasts a beautifully decorated, rustically designed dining area and breakfast room overlooking a sparkling pool.  The dining area is fitted to seat a maximum of twenty four guests. Start your mornings here with a full English breakfast in this charming dining room, which has a warm ambience all of its own.

SWIMMING POOLS

Take a break and relax in one of our two sparkling swimming pools.  Evening sundowners can be enjoyed around the pools where braai facilities are on hand.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES

We also have mini conference facilities with full WIFI available. We can provide Projector, Flip charts and screen and catering as well. We also do dinners by request and serve a wholesome country homecooked meal.

GENERATORS & SAFE PARKING

We’re fully prepared for these with generators ready to kick in.  Your vehicles can be parked in our secure parking.
